Self-Care Favorites
I ran a giveaway a few months ago and was surprised to see the overwhelming response from my followers with interest in a fun “self-care” kit. It’s been top of mind for me lately that we are often thinking about our kids, spouse, partner or others in our lives, but it’s also important to treat yourself.
No better way to get back into blogging regularly than with sharing my favorite self-care items from August.
Tangle Teaser Hairbrush continues to be a game changer in our household. I have extremely tangly hair that Hudson unfortunately inherited and this brush untangles wet or dry hair with a breeze. It also comes in fun travel sizes.
Saalt Menstrual Disc: I owe you all a full blog post on this (stay tuned). I was skeptical and kinda terrified to try this route but I can’t believe it took me this long to try it. In girl math, I’m now basically making money every period as this was a single purchase that I can use for up to 10 years.

Next up is the Method body wash. I don’t really know how to describe it other than I’m really picky and have only used the blue Dial soap for the last 20 years and now I have a new favorite that smells delectable.
I really want to try their matching deodorant when my current deodorant runs out.
A pure magic gift I got in my stocking from my sister in law a few years ago that makes me smile every night when I take my makeup off. Another girl math situation as I used to buy the makeup removing wipes (and hated how filmy they felt). These Makeup Erasers are literally magic. Just use water and it takes off your makeup with ease. Even the tubing mascara I’m obsessed with comes off effortlessly, honestly this should have made this list.
Next up is my favorite shampoo and conditioner duo: Enjoy Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner. Again, tangly hair gal here and this stuff makes my hair smooth, conditioned and it just feels luxurious.
I’ve been using the Ultrahuman Ring Air since February and I talk about it constantly because I’m obsessed. I hate that I can’t just grab a Diet Pepsi when I want as it recommends when I should have caffeine, but wow, it’s incredible. This also deserves its own full blog post as it’s packed with features, insights, and learnings. I’m constantly impressed and love the ability to track my cycles with it. Blog post incoming on this one too.
