Organization Tips for Pump and Bottle Parts
Parts dishes is probably the reason I will stop pumping. It’s kinda the worst. To combat this I made arguably the best decision of this journey and bought multiple sets of parts so that I only have to wash parts once a day (now that I’m down to 3ppd). With this comes lots of dishes and need for organization.
My organization is three-fold.
- A large bowl with soapy water to soap used parts and bottles in. I love these OXO ones. Soap wise, I use an antibacterial dish soap, dapple baby, or the Medela quick clean soap.
- Drying Racks / Sterilizer. I use two different drying racks, one flat and one vertical for bottles that is a great space saver. I wash parts at night and in the morning, put them into bins to separate and organize.
- Target bins to organize parts, like these on Amazon.
Washing Parts While Traveling / On the Go
If you’re on the go, I love this oxo drying rack that’s foldable and perfect for washing parts in your hotel room.
