5 Things to Leave Off Your Baby Registry
Per usual, every baby is different and I may find them to be useful for the next kiddo but the following is a list of items I would keep off my registry as they didn’t get used for the cost of them with Hudson.
Cloth Changing Pad
Cloth changing pad: honestly the thought grossed me out after changing a few diapers on our wipeable pad that I never used our cloth one. I love the ability to wipe it clean and use antibacterial spray or wipes on it after each diaper change rather than deal with a cloth one getting dirty.
This Hatch one is awesome as it doubles as a scale for weighted feeds.
Diaper Pail Inserts
Diaper pail inserts: save money and just buy Costco scented kitchen bags for a fraction of the price.
We love this Dekor diaper pail.
Diaper Rash Creams
Diaper rash creams: honestly, we replaced all creams with a big tub of aquaphor. Aquaphor is great for diaper rashes, preventing diaper rashes, creating a barrier for those newborn poops, great on Hudson’s eczema, cuts, and awesome chapstick. Just don’t double dip 😜.
Infant Bath Tub
Baby bath tubs (if you have a bathtub): we used ours as a staging seat for Hudson but found it best to follow the Moms on Call advice to lay Hudson directly on a towel in the tub. Just make sure the water doesn’t go up to their ears. Now, one he was mobile, I highly recommend getting a bath chair. We LOVED this one.
Baby Towels
Baby towels: super cute but honestly we used them because we had them initially and then found it’s easy just to use our fluffy bath towels all the same. Now I will say, we were gifted the cutest towel with Hudson’s name on it and boy is it cute.
