Best Diapers for Babies and Toddlers
I know this will be controversial and I should preface this post by saying that every kid is different and as such, diaper preferences vary. Do what works for you! We tried Hello Bello, Honest, Pampers, Kirkland signature, and Huggies. Hands down, no competition: Huggies and Kirkland Signature (Costco) for us.
So what’s the criteria for this? Simple: less leaks, less blowouts, softness, absorbency and wetness. Bonus points: no leaks for a 12+ hour straight tummy sleeper.
Newborn
We tried several newborn diaper styles and by far our favorite was the Huggies: Special Delivery for newborns. They are unbelievably soft, even on the outside for that super sensitive newborn skin.

Hudson’s perfect recipe is Kirkland signature or Huggies diapers during the day, and Huggies overnight up one size at night. As a tummy sleeper for 12+ hrs the overnight and size up overnights is a game changer. When we started doing this we never had leaks or a wake up to change the diaper.
